In ancient times, purgatory was thought to be the period it takes for a human body to decay in the ground so that the soul can be released. However, one woman defied this belief because she is said to be soulless and unable to die. Some believe she is the succubus described in ancient texts, while others think she is a dark demon that fell from the skies. In our story, Lilith finds herself in purgatory, not because she is dead, but because she inhabits the body of another woman. Whether she is aware of this or not, there is one man determined to find her with the hope of destroying her.
